250 cubic metres of Asbestos contaminated muck removed

In Oct 2008, Wyndham Site Services removed 250 cubic metres of Muck contaminated with Asbestos for Bexley Federation of Allotments. We also supplied Rollonoff containers for plastic and metal recycling. We received a letter of thanks from Bexley Federation of Allotment & Leisure Gardeners, from which we are proud to publish an extract:

" Your provision of skips and JCB enabled the site to be cleared much faster than we could have hoped. I would also thank your JCB driver, his expertise and energy meant that nothing was too difficult. When we assessed the site back in April, we knew this project would be challenging and had various estimates on how long it would take to complete. But thanks to you the allotment site is close to being back in business.

Thank you again for your kind support which enabled us to secure the future of this allotment site."

Disposal of Charlton Athletics football pitch

Charlton Athletics Football Club

Wyndham Site Services were called to Charlton Athletics Football Club for an important job, the removal and disposal of the worn out pitch.

It takes two weeks to re-lay and prepare a new pitch, so when the opportunity came, due to the international break and an away match, WSS had to move quickly to get the job done.

WSS carried out the removal using 8 wheel grab lorries. We were kicking up the dirt, approx 20 lorry loads!

Now the Club is looking forward to the season ahead, playing on the improved surface of the freshly laid football pitch.
